SOW HAPPINESS!!!

Welcome to a floral collaboration between Vanessa Grutman's passion for design and La Pivoinerie Lili's love for flowers. Vanessa and Lizianne have been working together for over a year in health coaching and busniess coaching.

Together, we have created a collection of exclusive zinnia seeds, joining forces to sow happiness in each candle pot from Vanessa's Clean collection and in the floral creations of La Pivoinerie Lili.
Vanessa and Lizianne share a common vision: to bring joy, happiness and color to the lives of each of their clients.

Zinnias, with their vibrant variety of colors and symbolism of joy and friendship, were the perfect choice to embody this shared mission.

This partnership gave birth to a collection of carefully selected zinnia seeds, guaranteeing not only quality but also diversity of colors and shapes. Each seed packet contains a blend of seeds, meticulously chosen for their beauty and ability to thrive in different environments across Canada and the United States.

The most unique aspect of this collaboration is the versatility of the seeds. Not only can they be sown in candle pots to create beautiful floral arrangements, but they can also be planted outdoors in gardens, flower beds or pots on balconies.

It's an invitation to cultivate happiness, no matter how much space you have.

For Vanessa Grutman, the Clean collection is much more than just a line of products. It is a way of life focused on simplicity, purity and well-being. Adding a touch of nature to this balance was a natural step, a way to introduce an organic, living element into every home.
For Lizianne, the founder of La Pivoinerie Lili, each flower is a story in itself, an expression of beauty and grace. Working with Vanessa to incorporate these elements into her candle collection is a natural extension of her passion for flowers and sharing their brilliance with the world.

Together, Vanessa Grutman and La Pivoinerie Lili have created much more than just a collection of seeds. They have cultivated an experience, an invitation to slow down, connect with nature and celebrate the simple beauty around us. It's an ode to collaboration, creativity and, above all, the ability of small seeds to sow large amounts of happiness in our lives.

When to sow & how to sow?
Zinnia seeds can be sown indoors in your candle pot so that the young shoots are well established by the time they are transplanted into the ground. Here are the steps to follow :
  • Place a few seeds in the pot. You can sow it in other pots too and sow it directly outside when all risk of ground frost has passed.
  • Cover with a thin layer of potting soil.
  • Compact lightly and water carefully.
  • Maintain the temperature around 20°C.
  • Once all risk of frost has passed (end of May or beginning of June), transplant the young zinnias into the ground after amending the soil with compost.
In what type of soil?
Zinnias thrive in soil:
  • Well drained;
  • Rich in humus.
How much sun exposure is recommended?
Zinnias prefer exposure to full sun.
Interview
Watering: It is essential to water zinnias regularly, especially during periods of drought and extreme heat. Watering in the morning is best to avoid excessive moisture in the foliage.
Fertilizers and fertilizers:
Zinnias need a regular supply of nutrients. It is advisable to apply a liquid or granular fertilizer specially formulated for flowering plants every two weeks.
Ideal temperature
Zinnias flourish when temperatures rise above 20°C.
Size
Zinnias are magical! They are one of the rare kinds of flowers that the more you cut the flowers, the more you will harvest. Take the opportunity to create magnificent bouquets of cut flowers in your home. You will always be doubly rewarded!!!
Finally, to harvest your own zinnia seeds, let a few flowers reach the end of their cycle. Once wilted, harvest the seeds for sowing the following spring.
Life cycle and flowering
Zinnias flower generously from June to September. They must be replanted every year. These are “Annual” type flowers.
